I posted this question a few weeks ago and got only a few fuzzy replies so
I will post once more and see what the outcome is.
I am trying to find out if there is anyone on the net who is keeping an
up to date listing of systems that allow anonomous UUCP logins for file
transfers. I don't mean the PUBNIX listing which also details some of these
systems but a listing where one could possibly find a site close by who
offers anon uucp logins. They could then retrieve a listing of available
files from that site etc.
If this has not already been done maybe its time that someone does.
So, barring any objections from someone who already HAS done this I am
offering to act as coordinator for such a list.
I am open to suggestions as to how the list should be maintained etc.
Please send e-mail replies and I will summarize.
