[I have changed the newsgroups line from the rather ridiculous comp.lang.c,
 comp.lang.c++,comp.lang.misc,comp.sys.ibm.pc,comp.sys.apple,comp.sys.mac
 to just `comp.lang.misc,comp.misc', and redirected followups to the latter.]

Yes.  All these magazines, unless their charters are carefully written
so as to prevent it, follow this trend of `technical' => `business'.
(Most of them soon follow through with `business' => fold.)  I am not
sure that this should be lamented.  Instead, when your favourite
`technical rag' turns commercial, start a new one.  Someday you too may
get rich selling it out :-) .
