A Large number of people Emaled me, telling me that they have NOT seen the origional large article I posted on comp.misc about a week and a half ago. People have requested that I Email them copies. So, I'm taking an official tally to determine how many people haven't seen it, and want it. Apparently, people have failed to include the origional request, and after several days I get messages like: "Ok, please send it to me" After many days have passed, and I have processed LOTS of Email, I get LOTS of requests to send MANY of my postings, so if anyone hasn't seen it, please be more specific, and tell me WHICH article you want me to send. I usually DON'T send it on the first request, but I ask that people reply to me to insure that I get a 2 way path. I don't like clogging up UUCP traffic with LONG messages and have them NOT get delivered. I'm sure the sites can appreciate that. So, in the future, I will be asking each person requesting the article to reply to a short message to confirm 2 way path, and ask them to include their ORIGIONAL request one more time. For instance, some people would say: "Go ahead and send it" <--- SEND WHAT?? Instead, be more specific, like: "Go ahead and send the long article "Joint Ventures with the Soviets" So, Who out there HASN'T seen the origional article on "comp.misc" and wants a copy....
