We have a need for a set of functions to do editing of text fields on a curses screen. While we have written a in house library for this function the sales department wants more functions than we have time for. We are looking for a package in source code format because of the need to port it to a number of platforms. Needed Functions 1) Edit a fixed size field (max 120 X 50) in a smaller on screen field. 2) Word wrap in insert or replace mode (the replace mode wrap is one of the big problem with the current system). 3) All of the normal word entry functions (add a line, delete a line, ....) 4) Curses use and support. 5) UN*X only (no ms-dos needed). 6) The text stoage will be handled by our code. We will pass the text to the routines and expect to get back the edited text. 7) X11 would be nice but not necessary Any pointers to a system (for sale or free) that can do something like the above would be appreciated.
