HELP!! I have a Hitachi CD1453A monitor, and don't know what I can do with it! I have some info on the CD1453D, which is similar, but do not have all the manual. What I would like to do is lower the horizontal scanning frequency, but to do this I need at least one of: o Name and address of some part of Hitachi that knows of this monitor. I have tried all known branches of Hitachi in the UK, but none have heard of this (not very old) monitor. (Few even thought the company made hi-res colour monitors at all!) o Contact with a company/someone who has used this monitor, and therefore get a lead.. o Manual for CD1412, CD1413, CD1452, CD1453 (any suffix). o Suggestion of what a high-res colour monitior, with line frequency of 24.2kHz and frame frequency of 54Hz might have been for. Do reply if you have any (possibly) helpful suggestions. It's very frustrating having a good piece of hardware I can't use. [By the way, I intend to use this monitor on an IBM PC with CGA although I could buy a different card if that would help.] The Druid.
