In short, has anyone out there any experience in the creation of a CD-ROM application? The information I need includes: - compilation of data; - convertion & manipulation of data into some sort of preferred format; - indexing & retrieval techniques; and, - the order of these stages. What services are provided by such companies which assemble CD-ROMs? What would I give these companies in what format, and what would they return to me? Better yet, how much would this process cost? Anyone done business with companies like this lately? If anyone has any advice or comments, I'd greatly appreciate hearing of them. I'm sitting in an informational void currently, yet will likely be called upon to provide such info for my boss some time soon. HELP! Thanks muchly, Brian A.
