I just want to take a moment to thank all those who responded to my
recent post regarding help with an old Altos 8600 Xenix machine.
I've tried to reply mail to each one but in case I missed someone,
thanks again. I got some real good advise ("make a boatanchor out
of it" for instance :-). I've found that I have a trashed hard drive
in this unit. It is an 8" 20 mb unit with (i think) the SMD interface.
If any kind soul would happen to have such a unit in 20 or 40 mb laying
around collecting dust, I'd appreciate it being made available.
Reasonable prices considered; giveaways jumped on immediately.
