From Ted Holden, HTE: I have posted an updated version of the HTE VMUSIC polyphonic routine on the IBMNEW section of Compuserve. Aside from a number of new features in the program itself, this version includes a number of really spectacular scorings of Bach pieces done by Richard Pierce, whom a number of you will instantly recognize from rec.audio. In particular, this is the first instance I have seen or become aware of of a really serious musician attempting to do anything with my package; hopefully, it won't be the last. The IMS site has recently upgraded its version of Berkeley UNIX, and posting to comp.binaries.ibm.pc, while problematical under the best of circumstances, has become impossible at this time. Include a note at the start that you want it forwarded and I will take
it from there.
