From Ted Holden, HTE: I have posted an updated version of the HTE VMUSIC polyphonic routine on the IBMNEW section of Compuserve. Aside from a number of new features in the program itself, this version includes a number of really spectacular scorings of Bach pieces done by Richard Pierce, whom a number of you will instantly recognize from rec.audio. In particular, this is the first instance I have seen or become aware of of a really serious musician attempting to do anything with my package; hopefully, it won't be the last. The IMS site has recently upgraded its version of Berkeley UNIX, and posting to comp.binaries.ibm.pc, while problematical under the best of circumstances, has become impossible at this time.
