Well, I have more or less finished it up (again). I received more
sites as well as figured out the rest of the IP addresses. I just finished
adding them all in and making the revisions/corrections mailed in. I
believe I replied to everyone who did so (if possible). Anyway, thanks to
those who helped and everyone feel free to mail me.
This is the list of sites accepting anonymous FTP (i.e. user anonymous
password <login name>). If you have any comments, suggestions, additions
or corrections, etc. please mail me at odin@ucscb.ucsc.edu. Sorry about the
lines being so long but it makes it easier to maintain and add new sites by
just running it through sort. A more exact list is in the works but will not
be done for awhile yet. This is not a finished product (is it ever?) but I
just finished the basic editing/updating/adding and am going to go through
it more thoroughly later. I thought it would be better to get it out first
and then worry about making the descriptions perfect.

In the case of sites having aliases, I used the site name which was not an
alias as best as I could tell using nslookup.
