I purchased an Avatex 1200 modems several years ago and the thing has finally bitten the bit bucket. It's strange though, it works at 300 boud, and even connects ok at 1200, but for some reason it refuses to do anything after it has connected in 1200 mode. What I need to know is: Is Avatex still alive? And if so, how do I reach them to find out how to get it repaired? (If it's even worth it!) worth it!)
