I salvaged a Sperry UTS40 (w/ printer n a double 8" drive) from the bank that my mom works at..they were about to junk it so I grabbed it. All I have for it is a word processor..I saw an rs232 port on the back, sooooo I'm assuming there's some communications software available for it.. does anyone have any/know where I can get it? -- Brendan Kehoe brendan@cup.portal.com | GEnie: B.KEHOE | Oh no! Sorry, but even though it has an Rs-232 port on it, it requires a host which uses Uniscope protocol. This a unique to Unisys (old Sperry) systems and requires either 1100 or OS/3 systems to communicate. It is a synchronous protocol and will not run any async protocol. At least you have a WP for it so it is good for something besides and anchor. Richard H. Miller Email: rick@bcm.tmc.edu Asst.
