It's me again. I'm still looking for info or help to rehabilitate this old "Momentum" computer. Last time I tried, I got pointed towards a "Sytek" corp in Mountain View, Ca. 411 has never heard of them. Below is the information from last time. Anyone with any information about this box, please mail, post, call collect, ANYTHING. I don't want to just trash this thing, as I believe it to be potentially useful, given a @#^*@#$&^@$^! system tape. ---------- cut here ---------- Subject: "Momentum" system? H E L P ! Newsgroups: comp.unix.questions I have a "momentum" unix system here and I would like to find out where I can get a system tape for it. I've posted this question before, but haven't got a response, so here is some more information. When the machine is powered up it says, DIAGNOSTIC BOOT 2-14-84 MEMORY SIZE 00100000 CONFIGURATION 9CEF5780 HARDDISK DIAGNOSTIC IPL IN PROGRESS Standalone autoboot Waiting...: w(0,7140) unix Loading at 0x400: 67620+7132+79220 Starting at 0x400 (C) Copyright 1983 - UniSoft Corporation 68000 Unix System III - May 1983 Created Thu Jul 12 15:19:18 PDT 1984 MOMENTUM release 3.1 - Tape system Later it notes that mem is 889856, and that DMA is installed, driver is TAPE/SASI, and that there are 2 serial ports. The system has a meg of RAM, two hard disks (I think), a cartridge tape drive, and not a scrap of documentation. I would like to rehabilitate this thing, but am stymied. No, it was not stolen :-}. Any help at all would be appreciated.
