[comp.misc] Need info on RS-232 interface to cash registers

Hi Folks,

     A customer needs to find a cash register where we can have
some kind of RS-232 interface to a host computer.  I guess they
want to read the X and Z tape information at small intervals (say,
once per hour) and we don't really know where to look for this.
The register doesn't need to be *controlled* by the host.
