Has anyone ever suggested an Embedded Systems news group? It seems like something that would be very popular. It could be called comp.embedded or comp.sys.embedded. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? -- Don Christensen -- Don Christensen | UUCP: ...{sun}!daver!kesa!djc Kesa Corporation | Internet: djc@kesa.UUCP Santa Clara, CA (209) 944-7068 | Home Phone: (415) 966-1842

Since embedded systems are by and large also real-time systems, and vice-versa, comp.realtime should suffice. .Bob. -- Bob Kitzberger Internet : telesoft!rlk@ucsd TeleSoft uucp : ...!ucsd.ucsd.edu!telesoft!rlk 5959 Cornerstone Ct. Its called 'comp.realtime'. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be mostly for talking about the VxWorks embedded kernal and for people who are looking for new cross-development systems. Still, it has had some interesting topics, so this is where you should look for embedded systems issues. -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ken Smelcer Quintron Corp. quintro!kts@lll-winken Quincy, IL tiamat!quintro!kts@uunet
