HELP!! Our local Novell system has brain damage.. but let me elaborate a little.. Was running Paradox3 and comparing 2 big tables.. The system crashes (which it was prone to do lately) Only this time it was ok after running Vrepair, yet it tweaked my account some. I cannot run Paradox3 without getting errors. I cannot exit Paradox3, (unless I like re-booting my workstation) And my rights somehow have been changed, such that i cannot erase files. Some files that I erase, stay there. I try to erase them again.. and "File not found" is shown. The system was recently backed up and a new controller card was installed. Then the O/S was reloaded and the files restored. I suspect Paradox is the tweaked file causing the problems.. it was not re installed from scratch with the rest of the system.. and now that the system has been rebuilt.. I still have the same problems.. A friend mentioned a bug in Novell having to do with various Hot Look tables or something. I am NOT a novell fan, but I don't know what to do, and DP is not helping!
