My wife is a database analyst and has almost two years' experience with DB2. She is considering moving on to work elsewhere, either as an employee, or as a contractor. The question is, how can she get a complete (or fairly complete) listing of companies and organizations that are currently using DB2? With such a list, it would be possible for her to intelligently focus her search, while minimizing the possibility of missing out on a good company or organization. Of course, IBM will not give out such a list (we've tried). Her geographic area of interest is in Northern California, Minnesota, and possibly Wisconsin. Any suggestions?

In article <4326@helios.ee.lbl.gov> nolra@ux1.lbl.gov (Arlon Hunt) writes: [His wife is a DB2 specialist and wants to find a position] I suggest your wife get in touch with some headhunters in each of those areas. Zeroing in on a more definite geographic area (say, cities within desired states) might help, too. Good Luck! -- _____________________________________________________________________________ Peg Shambo | Anybody know of any IDMS/ADSO positions in peggy@ddsw1.mcs.com | the South of England?
