I am looking for a piece of IBM PC software which can be used by my sales force to keep records on current and prospective clients. In addition the package should be able to record details of calls and contact dates so as to ensure different salesmen do not contact the same client within a short time scale. I have already located two packages, namely Tracker and ACT!, but I would like to evaluate more if they are available. If anyone has experience of using such packages then I would be grateful for any advice or recommendations in this area. Would I be better off using a simple database tailored to my needs or are the dedicated packages a better solution? The system will be used by more than one salesman but I do not envisage a multi-user or networked solution at this stage since my sales force is fairly small. Thanks, Richard
