I know the ability to ftp is great but when there are tons of ftp lists in all sorts of different formats and none of them being complete and up to date. So how about someone out there with a kind heart & access to resources to set up a server of some sort that would accept ftp site info in an agreed upon format and automatically process it and post it to a certain news group every so often? Or has this been done already? I read somewhere that comp.archives was supposedly doing something like this, if so, can someone tell me exactly how it's set up? Thanks. Pedro Quien?
