Hello fellow neters! Recently, I made a purchase of several workstations that were marketed by Valid logic systems. They were called Scald System IV. They are a 68010 based system, with a 17 Meg hard disk, 720K floppy, bit mapped graphics display, 2-Meg Ram, Two serial ports, one for the mouse, an Omninet interface, three Apple II slots, and a few other odds and ends. They are running BSD4.2 of Unix I believe. The system was designed and built by Corvus. The processor board is referenced as the Mercury Processor. Anyhow, I am trying to locate any technical info on these systems, ie. manuals, schematics, specifications, SOFTWARE, etc. etc. Any help, clues, description of features, pointers would be greatly welcomed! I'm really interested in this Omninet interface. How it works, what protocol is used, etc. Also, a friend of mine happened across some Corvus Omninet disk servers and Omninet serial interface boards. Any information on these items would be welcomed as well.
