Something this system desperately needs is an on-line spellchecker. We have seen on the Great White North a lot of message traffic come through with grevious misspellings. Despite the tone of the message, the errors detract from the content of the article, and the reader will subconsiously "blow off" the message. One possible requirement we are looking at for access to the 'Net on GWN (we are level driven for the users) is literacy, test of this being whether the sysop can stand the methods the author used in composing his/her message. Anything that looks like the recent "VIC-20 BBS" missive on here gets the user an automatic drop in access level. That is, unless the message went to talk.bizarre, in which case all bets are off... -- Tim Bowser ("Strikemaster"), Hardware Maintainer| rutgers!sharkey!lopez!strike GWN UPLink!
