Hello all, I am interested in some good references on software validation/testing. Both theory and implementation examples would be great. I do not have a specific platform/OS in mind but references that cover from single user through multi-user and distributed systems would be the best. Are there any ACM publications or conference proceedings that cover this ? (or textbooks, journal articles, etc.) If you don't believe that this would be of general interest to the net (or it's been covered many times) please email me at craigb@hp-pcd.HP.COM Thanks for your input. ____________________________________________________________________ Craig Boeker HP Ink-jet Components Division Corvallis, OR craigb@hp-pcd.HP.COM

I have found the following to be a very useful source of practical hints on software testing and software reliability in general: "Software Reliability Guidebook" by Robert L. Glass (Prentice-Hall). It was published in 1979, so I don't know if it's still in print. It discusses how to improve software reliability both from a technical and managerial point of view.
