Hi. Currently I'm looking into a computer system that comes with an ST-506 HD interface. Since I'm only used to my Mac's SCSI interface, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is (this I think I've figured out: ST-506 drives are internal vs. the external/internal SCSI type, and that ST-506's can't be daisy-chained like SCSI drives...) What confuses me, though, is that a quick perusal of mail order ads in PC World had some HDs listed as XT drives and AT drives. What's the difference? Can both be used with an ST-506 interface? Help? Thanks for any info! Roger rre@ihlpn.ATT.COM
