I think what all this comes down to is whether an *archive* like sumex should be changing the names of software in order "to move the product" or whether an archive should remain an archive where people can go to find the software they want. Is sumex in the software marketing business? No, I think not. It is up to the software author to change the name of his "product" if he wants more people to use it, not the archivers or the person who posted it. If you take the time to read the abstracts, you'll learn what all the cryptically (sp?) named software really does. I found Neko DA by this exact same method. Just one guy's opinion, Brian M.
