Your friend should try: GreenNet 25 Downham Road London, N1 5AA phone - 01 923-2624 They offer accounts with mail to PeaceNet/EcoNet in the US, and through these out into Usenet. They also carry some Usenet newsgroups as well, I believe. Dave C
