Having problems running the netwok version 3.0 on a starlan network. the server is a 3B2 with 32meg RAM the worksations are AT&T 6286/WGS EL with: PC-XT/286 rom chips 1/15/88 4 meg RAM VGA color We have tried setting up the RAM in every combination and have even tried disabling shadow ram. The workstations hang up hard. To make matters worse they don't hang at the same point consistently. Sometimes we can even get up and running 123 then exit and be unable to get back in. We always get the copywrite screen but sometimes hang right there; usually we hang when the screen blanks out. Another weird thing is that if we SET 123OVL=C:\PERSONAL then 123 will down- load the actual 123DOS.EXE file , all 875k, to the c:\personal directory ! Any help or expalantion of what is happening greatly appreciated. please respond if possible to Compuserve Id# 72431,2153 thanx
