Hi there, Quick question for you folks. In the course of running a cookie program that I picked up (pretty good - over 12,000 cookies !) for the PC, I occassionally get references to "Chtorrans". For example, Q: What do Chtorrans get if they eat Mary Poppins ? A: Diabetes Q: What do Chtorrans get if they eat the Supreme Court ? A: Food poisoning Query : What *are* Chtorrans, and where was the first reference to them ? My guess would be some form of Sci-Fi. Also, how do you pronounce "Chtorran" ? Thanks :) bjh "There's no future in time travel" Metanet : b_haughey@ccvax.ucd.ie

Also, how do you pronounce "Chtorran" ? Chtorrans are alien worm/caterpillar creatures from a series of Science- Fiction novels by David Gerrold. The jokes you asked about are found (along with many others) at the beginning of each chapter in one/some of the books. An enjoyable read. Followups to rec.arts.sf-lovers... Good reading!
