I happened to be looking thru the calentool dates files that I have around and noticed that there was missing info. The other thing I noticed was that there had not been any updates for a couple or more years. 1. Does anyone have access to extensive 'special days, dates, events, birthdays' lists other than what is distributed with the calentool program? 2. Does anyone have any input on: the year the first cray-1 was shipped to los alamos? The year Tandy Corp acquired Radio Shack The year the zilog z-80 was introduced? The year Dec announced the PDP-8 The year the first FORTRAN programmer's reference manual was published the year the VAX 11/780 was announced What year will/did Pioneer fly past Neptune? Of course, there were a number of non computer dates missing as well : the Battle of New Orleans (blush - I should know that one) anniversary of John Chapman (Jonny appleseed)'s death MyLai massacre year of Louisiana purchase year 'phineas Fogg completed trip round the world year Alexander hamilton was born year Barthelemy Boganda of Central African Replublic died Those I can probably find in an encyclopedia some time. -- Larry W.
