If you are cutting paper, perhaps what you could do would be to make up a "pen" with nitric/sulphuric acid as the "ink" and have it trace across your paper. I don't think that this would immediately cut completely through your paper, but it will digest it. How good the cut is will depend on the type of paper, some paper may wick the acid more, and hence you get a wider area either digested completely or weakened.
