I have a friend who just became the proud owner of one of these machines (for free). It came with a tape cassette unit and an rf modulator. My first question, which does not belong in many of these groups, is re: the existance of an RS-232 interface for this machine. There is no mention of one in the documentation and all of the ports on the machines case are mentioned. Is there a serial port here somewhere, or can one be cooked up - cheap? Secondly, they are looking for software, mainly educational, games and a simple wp. Since I do not have a current method of hooking it up to a modem, it would be best to get these on tape. My friend would be most amiable to paining for the tapes and shipping. If they are small to medium sized programs (in basic, she got no compilers with the system - no programs at all) you could e-mail me the sources. It would serve as an educational experiance for her son to type them in :) Please respond w/ e-mail as my news reading is not upto par w/ classes.
