Howdy, Sorry if this is the wrong group, but it was unclear what other group my question would fit into: I am currently looking for a good CD-ROM Reader, I would like to attach it to a Macintosh IIfx, but that should not be a problem to a CD-ROM with a SCSI adapter. From what I have seen, CD-ROM's at this point offered for the Mac are VERY slow, (In fact, I saw a Sony Offering on a PS/2 and it was flakey as all getout). This leaves me with a few questions someone out there may have delt with already: 1) What's a good CD-ROM Reader, not flakey, "Compatable", (Meaning can actully read CDROMS from different places) 2) What's fairly fast, perhaps even smart? 3) What names are getting good "user" reviews, and why. 4) What names are getting poor "user" reviews, and why.
