[comp.misc] Original Source of Supreme Court Rulings Postings

tkevans@fallst.UUCP (Tim Evans) (03/03/91)

Can someone tell me the system name where the texts of Supreme
Court rulings are posted first? I know they're on uunet.uu.net,
but don't know how timely new postings appear there. And, in
the same connection, is there any mailing list to which new
postings are announced?

Thanks.

I don't know about a mailing list, but I can tell you that the project which
puts them on-line is (I believe) located at Case Western Reserve University,
and that you can get decisions from the "/hermes" anonymous ftp directory on
ftp.cwru.edu. See the "README.FIRST" and "README.SECOND" files in that
directory for more information.

(I'm posting this instead of mailing it because it's probably of interest to
other people.)
