Does anyone about implementations of Terminology Management Systems (TMS), particularly in their application to _translation_ of documents, such as manuals. The idea behind these systems (I think) is that they are repositories for equivalent terms and structures for technical information in different languages. The user would start with an initial dictionary and then progressively update it. We're interested in either a Mac or PC application, and one of the principle requirements is that it should multitask (or TSR) along with DTP and WP applications. Eg: a Windows 3 affair would be ideal. Another major requirement is to be able to handle more than just two languages (eg:5-6). Ideally if anyone has seen anything written about these systems, knows of any application in use (shareware/commercial), I would be grateful if you could pass me the reference. Buying in an existing product and developing it up to Windows 3 would be a possibility.
