I'm not sure what a more appropriate group would be--at least of the ones I have time to read... I recently came into posession of a 340-Meg hard drive, cannibalized from an AT&T 3B15 (ne 3B5) which I helped to dismantle, and I would like to know what I can do with it. The drive is made by Magnetic Peripherals ("A subsidiary of Control Data Corp."), and bears the following numbers: Equip. No. PA5G1E Part No. 73088707 It also has a sticker claiming that it is also a Western Electric No. KS-22875,L10. The front panel has one light and three switches, labeled 0, Start, Fault, and Wrt Pro. It also has an LED diagnostic display and accompanying switch and buttons. I would like to know the following: What kind of input is it expecting? Can I do anything with it? If not, do you want it? It was thought that this drive was broken, but that does not seem to be the case (we pulled out another, identical drive that was definitely broken). -GAWollman Garrett A.
