A good portion of the music from the movie Excalibur can be found on the album "Wild Connections" by John Lancaster. I like the album a lot, and bought it for the music from the battle scenes (the one with the choral group in the background). Anyway it's a good album for people who like [progressive?] jazz. I'm sorry, but I can't let you get away with that... The music from Excalibur was for the most part lifted from Wagner and Orff. That music from the battle scenes (with the choral group in the background) is Carmina Burana, by Carl Orff. I agree that it's great music, but it's hardly in the category of jazz by any name. Perhaps there's a jazz version on that album by Jeff Lancaster (I haven't heard the album, but it sounds like it's worth looking up). I don't mean to knock jazz -- it's one of my favorite forms of music -- but let's keep our classifications (no pun intended) straight. Joe Ziegler houxf!ziegler
