Well, it's time to trim the GIF collection way back. I have > 1500 GIFs that are taking > 300M. I'd like to cut that down to 50M or so. I want to weed out the duplicates, even if they have different names, plus get rid of the low quality (< 200 colors) images and the corrupted GIFs. I don't want to have to look at each GIF. I don't think I'll live long enough. :-) Has anyone done something like this? Does anyone have any tools that can make doing this less painful and tedious, and perhaps automate it a bit? Any suggestions, pointers, or code appreciated. Please, don't ask me to send GIFs. I already offered, and several people took me up on it. I've done my part to share the wealth.
