maples@ddtg.com (Greg Maples) (05/07/91)
We are running A/UX 2.0.1, which runs Sendmail 5.64, pretty much straight Berkeley standard. Our environment includes a Sun 4/370 which acts as a mail relay, each A/UX host sending all mail to it for further distribution. The Sun 4/370 runs our DNS for domain ddtg.com. If I send a message from my machine, it uses the Dj$m define, but mail always seems to come out user@machine.domain. I'd like to be able to send to the outside world as user@domain, not user@host.domain. Is there something simple and obvious I'm missing to do this? If there is a way to do this, please reply using the assumption that I'm an ignoramous when it comes to modifying sendmail.cf. Thanks. -- Greg Maples | These are my opinions, not yours.
