I need some help with a problem that my son has on our home PC. I know little about computers except as a user. The problem my son has is that we have a 386SX with 2 Mbyte of RAM. My son has bought himself a computer game that requires about 556,000 bytes of RAM but it seems that it is unable to use the extra RAM in the machine. It seems that it can only use what remains of the 640 KB of main RAM. What remains after startup is less than the required 556,000 Bytes so his program will not run. What I want to know is whether I can reconfigure some of the extra RAM so that it is usable by his program. If not, does anyone have any other ideas on what can be done? I am sure that there must be an easy way around this but I have only had the computer a week and have no previous experience with PCs so I am lost. Please help. Thanks Pete
