[comp.misc] hardware & software for sale

platt@cs.swarthmore.edu (Steve Platt) (06/01/91)

We are offering the following items for sale. I'm not sure what
the going rate is for these items so I can't quote you minimal or
expected prices. All items are sold as-is, with our current beliefs
as to the conditions noted.

Please write to platt@cs.swarthmore.edu if interested or you'd like
to make a bid...

1) WD1003-WA2 Western Digital, MFM + 2 floppies
2) WD1003V-MM2 Western Digital, MFM(?) + 2 floppies
3) OMTI disk controller, vintage 1987, prob. MFM + 2 floppies.
All are believed to be operational. #2 was functional
as of Jan-Feb, when its mothercard died. No documentation.

4) Priam 135mb hard disk, full height. Functional.
5) Priam 135mb hard disk, full height. Functional(?).
#4 is at least 3-4 years old; #5 is around 1 year old.
We have manuals and utility disks. We weren't able to get
#5 to operate reliably on a 25mhz 386 machine, but that may
	have been our controller.

6) Mylex 80386-16 (I think) motherboard, with 1mb of on-board DIPs.
7) 2.5mb memory card w. 2mb installed.
These worked as a pair so presumably #7 sat in the 100000-
2FFFFF address block. We can no longer get #6 to boot, beep,
	etc.

8) Magnavox color monitor (14").
Was used as output for TARGA-16, Data Translation 24-bit
display adaptors, so it does high-res analog. It works
somewhat with low-res VGA, but will need a little alignment for
this. The colors were off when we used the Data Translation
card -- a little greenish. The monitor shell has been painted
	blue.

9) NEC color monitor (14").
This was working a few months ago, but I couldn't get it running
well last week. This may be due to a missing adapter cord. The
power button is also missing, but you can reach the real switch
without problem. As I remember, it was a nice monitor. It's
also a little old, around 3 years. It also has been painted blue.

10) Samsung mono monitor.
	Good condition (practically new). Works.

11) PC Limitied mono monitor.
A little burned in, was functional at last use.

12) Keyboard.
	Vanilla 101-key pc-at keyboard. Works.

13) Microport SV/386 Development System
14) Microport SV/286 Development System. (runtime ver. 2.3.0, sw devel 1.3)
15) SCO Xenix 286 Development System + Text Processing
Complete with all disks and documentation. We'll send letters to
	transfer the license as needed.
#13: Runtime ver. 2.2; can't find devel. disks right now.
#14: Runtime ver. 2.3.0, sw devel ver. 1.3
	#15: Ver 2.2 for all.

16) Mitsuba mono adapter card.
Never used, I think. No documentation.

17) Four 100ns 256 SIMMs.

18) AST Four-port serial card with manual.
