Background: I am in the process of typesetting a book using LaTeX. The publisher wants the book to be typeset using a 14pt font. Our site does not have a style file for anything larger than 12pt. I searched a couple of the archives but could not find a 14pt style for books. Questions: 1. Where can I get a 14pt book style? If I am unable to get one, is there anything reasonably easy I can do to get a 14pt document? (I don't think making my own book14.sty would be considered "reasonanbly easy" -- or is it easier than I think it is?) 2. If the publisher insists on me using Times instead of cmr, can I just redefine \rm, \sl, etc. in the preamble of my document (or in a style file) to use the Times family of fonts? Please MAIL me any suggestions you might have. Thanks very much in advance -- any help would be greatly appreciated. < Vic -- -------- vic@cs.arizona.edu Dept. of Computer Science ..!{uunet|noao}!arizona!vic University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ 85721
