There was a Saturn V at the Michoud Assembly Facility in 1977. If I remember correctly it was just the first stage (They were assembled there). It was on its horizontal transportation rig parked out in the back. When I was back there in 1983 it was moved to a more accessable location for display. I was told in 1976-77 that if anyone wanted it all they needed to do was pay for transportation. There were no takers.
