           STS-26 - DISCOVERY (OV 103) - OPF BAY 1

Operations to prepare the shuttle Discovery for the move
from the Orbiter Processing Facility to the Vehicle Assembly
Building are underway this week. Closeouts are active in all
areas of the orbiter including the rudder speed brake and body
flap, tile and forward reaction control system.

Technicians are installing the forward external tank yoke
this week. Measurements of the latches between the orbiter and
external tank are being taken today. Tonight the landing gear
doors will be opened so tile measurements can be taken in those
areas. Thermal protection system operations are continuing to
prepare the orbiter for rollover. Five tiles were removed so
access can be attainted to replace the nut plates for the air
data probe. Those tiles will be replaced in their slots.

           STS-27 - ATLANTIS (0V 104) - OPF BAY 2

Leak checks of the environmental control system lines
located near the crew hatch are being conducted today as
implementation of the crew escape system continues. Technicians
are scheduled to install one of the hydrogen tanks for the power
reactant storage and distribution system today. Orbiter
modifications are continuing.

              STS-28 - COLUMBIA (OV 102) - OMRF

Powered down modifications scheduled today are bonding
strips of insulation to the orbiter's belly for the RTV heat sink
modification, electrical modifications in the forward and aft
sections of the orbiter and crew escape.

STS-26 SOLID ROCKET BOOSTERS - VAB

Closeouts of the field joints on the solid rocket boosters
are underway today in the Vehicle Assembly Building. Stacking of
the SRB segments and forward assemblies was completed on May 28.
On Monday, preparations will begin to mate the external tank with
the boosters. The actual mate is scheduled for Wednesday.
