Well, we've been hearing about the Soviet Space Shuttle for quite some time. On the day of the Dicovery launch, the soviets released pictures of their shuttle. It looked amazingly like ours. Does anybody know anything about this beastie? Everything I had heard said that it was smaller than ours, and that it had less payload capacity. Well, when our local news showed the picture of the soviet shuttle, the news anchor said that it would have a greater payload lift capacity than the U.S. shuttle. Could this be true? Also, reports say the soviets plan to lauch it within a month, unmanned. How are they going to land it? Remote control? I find it hard to believe that the soviets have computers sophisticated enough to land their shuttle totally without human help. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Go baby, go!"
