Lest we forget, Canada does have a space program, and even a few
astronauts. They include Dr. Ken Money, a space sickness pioneer
who has worked, at times, out of DCIEM, and at least five others.
To be sure, no launch vehicles - maybe we could strap a bunch of
Black Brant sounding rockets together and call it Energia2..:-)
I'm sure the folks at Spar Aerospace, (of arm fame), feel part of
the NASA program. Way back in the '70s, Canadian researchers helped
analyse Apollo moon rocks, so Canadian participation is nothing new.
And when they had the "cattle call" for people wanting to be astronauts
up here, there were droves of applicants. Hmmm. Maybe NASA should move
to Hull Quebec. No tropical storms up here. Just earthquakes. :-)
