be replaced by a new bi-monthly publication dealing with more technical
Amateur satellite communications topics. These publications are sent to

* SpaceNews NEWS *
------------------
Sorry for the delay in this week's and last week's SpaceNews distribution.
I've been busy with a few ham radio projects here, and have not had the time
to put these articles together.

I receive LOTS of mail regarding SpaceNews. I try to respond to each message
indivdually, but lack of time makes it hard to answer everyone's questions.

I hope to carry some mini-tutorials on Amateur Satellite operations in the
near future, and answer questions like, "How do you decode EPOCH date and
time into HH:MM:SS", define what Keplerian Elements are and how they are used
in satellite tracking and orbit predictions, and heep everyone posted on
this year's planned MicroSat launch.

Oh, and I will continue to keep posting SpaceNews on USENET under the
newsgroups of rec.ham-radio and sci.space.shuttle (sorry, I don't have
access to sci.space here). Thanks for all the comments received.

--- John, KD2BD.
