Technicians are removing heat shields from around the orbiter's main engines in preparation for engine removal later today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, tile technicians are continuing to repair the thermal protection system. STS-28 - COLUMBIA (OV 102) - OMRF Orbiter modifications and thermal protection system activities are continuing as scheduled.
