                        STS-29 - DISCOVERY (OV 103) - VAB

Preparations for rolling Discovery to Launch Pad 39-B are
continuing in the Vehicle Assembly Building. Some of the testing
is going a little slower than originally planned and the new
target for rolling out to the pad has moved 24-hours to 12:01
          a.m. Friday, Feb. 3.

Activities included in the Shuttle Interface Test today
include continued testing of the connections between the shuttle
elements and the launch platform, verification of the main
propulsion system connections, tests of the launch platform
hazardous gas system and an all-systems test of the solid rocket
          boosters.

                     STS-30 - ATLANTIS (0V 104) - OPF BAY 2

Orbiter systems testing continues in bay 2 on Atlantis.
Technicians are continuing work on a leaky thruster and polishing
a dynatube in the left orbital maneuvering system pod. Servicing
of the orbiter's potable water, preparation for servicing the
auxiliary power units with lube oil and check out of the water
spray boilers are operations scheduled this week.

                     STS-28 - COLUMBIA (OV 102) - OPF BAY 1

Columbia was powered up last night and tests of the main

          are planned.

STS-30 SOLID ROCKET BOOSTERS - VAB

The right aft booster was hoisted atop the mobile launcher
platform last night and technicians are completing the
connections today. Meanwhile, technicians in the RPSF are
preparing the other right segments for stacking.
