I asked this question once before but never got a response, so I'll try again. We've all seen the status reports that Peter Yee has been forwarding (thanks Peter) and they show several orbiters being prepared at the same time. What I'd like to know is whether any given preparations crew works the same job on several orbiters, like an assembly line operation, or does each crew get assigned to a single orbiter and follow through all the tasks for that orbiter until launch?
