[sci.space.shuttle] Computer Systems question

Could anybody please give me pointers as to information about the
onboard computer systems in the shuttle and possibly space station(s)
as well.
I am interested in the specification of a highly reliable architecture
(perhaps double or triple system) for use in an expensive lump of
equipment that I dont want to go wrong. I remember checking out data
from the original space station but would like to know if there has
been anything published recently. Is there any best place to check out
or do I have to wade through the NASA documents ?
