Help, please. We frequently telnet from our IBM 370/MVS host to UNIX hosts on the net. I have found *no* way to send a CNTRL D/EOT signal to the UNIX system from the IBM 3278 terminals I use. It makes it hard to use UNIX, as you can imagine - try sending mail, or even catting a new file from input, or *lots* of things. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it possible to set a function key to do it? We are using UCLA's telnet and ftp software, and I'm not too familiar with it or with the IBM terminals. Thanks muchhhhh in advance! Try remapping your EOF character in the terminal driver of whatever UNIX you are attached to, to some character your IBM WILL transmit. E.g., $ stty eof \^z
