NOTE TO EDITORS/PROGRAM DIRECTORS

STS-34 PRESS BRIEFING SCHEDULE


     Attached is a press briefing schedule for the STS-34 Space 
Shuttle mission currently targeted for Oct. 12.

     All briefings will be available on NASA Select TV (Satcom F-
2R, transponder 13, 72 degrees west longitude, 3960.0 MHz, audio 
monaural 6.8 MHz).  A detailed list of participants will be 
provided at NASA news centers on each briefing day.

     News media covering the mission should keep in mind that all 
times and participants are subject to change.
